I'm leaving for 5 day's in ST.John and 5 in St. Thomas on the 16th. I've already booked a charter for the 19th out of Caneel Bay in St. John. We'll be fishing some of the local blue water drops with live bait for Tuna/wahoo etc. I'm also bringing along my 7' med graphite (14 lb test) and a box full of 3/4 oz. kastmasters with feathered single hooks and some 1 oz white and flourescent green jigs. I plan on doing some exploring around the local shoreline. Has anyone fished St. John? What can I expect to catch if anything? How is the offshore fishing this time of year vs. Inshore?
