Question How was the Monomoy trip?

I'm among the jealous bunch that could not make the Monomoy trip last Sat.
How did the outing go? How was the fishing and all?
More importantly...When is the next one?!
Thanks

Great outing. Check out the thread on the New England Forum for the details http://www.reel-time.com/forum/showt...threadid=27293
A word of warning... RJ is a very funny guy. His stories should only be taken in small doses if you are to avoid snarfing your beer and wetting your pants

As for more trips (Monomoy and other destinations) lets hear from to forum as to where you would all like to go. Anyone have home waters or favorite haunts that they would like to share?

Sounds like it was a great time!
2 questions:

1. How far is it from Chatham to Monomoy Island?
Can you paddle or is ferry needed?

2. How about a few guys meeting to fish Newport's Brenton Reef?

From Outermost Harbor it is a 1.8 mile paddle to North Monomoy and 3.5 miles to the cut between North and South Monomoy.... and yes, I'm up for another group outing.

Brenton Reef

Always interested in new spots for the kayak. Depending on the date, count me in.
