nauticalwheels,

It just goes to show. Somebody already thought of it, or someone will develop it. Nice colors andyf. I'll make sure to ask my friend if he can tie up a couple of those before the fall run.

Also, if nobody is tired of spam yet, try www.????.com (insert letters you think might be appropriate.

The music, gets to you after a while. I am told if you hum it loud enough, stripers will come in to investigate.

Skunkfinder,

I doubt it is the fat. It must be something else. I am told by a knowledgable source that some of the bait chunkers use low fat, salt free spam and they still kill the stripers. They buy it by the case and effect a double savings. Understand they remove the product from the can before using.

Cheju,

I think the stripers are more health conscious then they were in past years. Of course, by the time they head to montauk there loading up on the high calorie stuff.

But I guess we'll have to rework this without the can. Just having a little fun.

Sagebrush,

I think you are on to something!

I would suggest that you moderate your earlier fly pattern to take in the colors of the low fat, salt free spam can. If you design a fly for the contents, go for a dull gray with barely discernable streaks of pink running through it.

Good luck on the tying board! We all await seeing the results.
