Smile Kayak Brethren .... I am sorry

After months of hours longer than the day has light, I took a much needed vacation. Away from work and Internet connection, I left you, without warning, in the non-yak hands of my fellow Moderators. My thanks to Bob, David and Mark for keeping an eye on this unruly crowd. I only have a moment to view the posts of late but here are some comments... for what they are worth:

G-Man - Fresh water yaking... you bet!!! E-mail me after Monday

notime - Way to go man but go a few hours earlier next time.... check with Pete... dawn can be unreal. Where there are birds, there are fish

senorbim - Welcome! I would love to have a canoe too. You might want to check with Bob P on canoe technique... he is a rough water guy too.

Mark - thank you for posting this link. I think that water trails are an interesting idea... so long as those using them are mindful of their abilities and the conditions at hand. Be smart folks... even the greatest kayakers (and I am NOT ONE) and not immune to drowning.

I'll be back in the office and once again on line this Monday. Hope that you are all out there fishing I'm heading for P-Town on Friday. Fluke, Blues, Bass..... yak heaven.
Tight Lines & Happy Paddling

Welcome back Sam!
Vacation is a good thing.
As quick as you left town, we'll assume you needed one.

Let us know your P-Town report.
