No Bluefin but we did manage to entertain ourselves with this 10 foot approx. 250 pound Blue dog.

I really don't think this picture does him justice! It was much more impressive in person.

did the same on sdr.20-25 miles south of nomans.ne winds cooled the water off so tunoids were scarce{saw one pod run thru our chum slick}chumming and using butterfish hooked and landed a clone of your bluedog on 40 lbs class 113h penn.Also grabbed 2 mako pups and had many additional hook ups and cut offs...

We saw a couple splashes here and there but they looked more like large albies than bluefin.

We were watching 5 sharks working the slick when this one took the bait. All the others were in the 5 to 7 foot range. We hooked up this guy on the Abu 7000 big game. It was quite a fight.
