RE: T&T Horizon vs. Scott STS 8 wts

Both great rods....I own several STS rods and love them. I have casted T&T Horizons and they are also a beautiful rod....Pretty hard to go wrong with either one of them.

Paulie- I owned a T&T Horizon 10wt but couldn't get the feel for it loading, that aside you might want to take into consideration the type of ferrules on the STS vs. the T&T. If memory serves me correctly the STS has internal ferrrules which I've heard wear out and become loose; whereas the T&T has the standard tip over butt type which will never wear out. Just my $.02. rel
