West Beach 9/19
Gave West Beach another shot, there were some birds down the right, but there little action on top.DO NOT let that give you the WRONG idea! It does not mean that there are no fish around. There were some BIG schoolies cruising by in about 2 ft. of water. Caught them on "decievers"with rattle inside pearl tubing(medium). The biggest fish today 28in. smallest 20in. caught at least a dozen. ( wear your polarized sun glasses)

West Beach
All you have to do is move slowly, they will come to you, they did it this a.m.. Believe me.. Just cast straight out, if the fish are around you will be in for a surprise. (I hope it works out for you!) Good luck!!!!

i would say yes...they have some small boats there that you can use if you are a resident i think, maybe you have to be a member...but i can't see them stopping you. its a private beach in summer, but after labor day...its public, closing each night at 7:30pm (locked gates). give it a whirl.

It would be an excellent idea because some of the action is little bit of hike if the start heading into the harbor! But, on the 9/19 a.m. , the fish were about a 1/4 mile or less from the beach, an easy kayak ride to the fish. Good luck!
