Salty- Congrats on a great battle and thanks for sharing it. You and several others have done a great job reporting on these fish and I (and others I'm sure) definitely appreciate it. Tight lines!

Lightbulb what lurks in the shadows?

Actually if you look in one of the pictires you can see the reflection of a.........? I will leave the interpretation to the individual! I would guess the color would be......? Because the reflection does not appear to be dark!

After further image processing, i.e. filtering, edge enhancement and the application of a Forier Transform you can pick up the exact location from the compass and gps.

I think I need to get out more!

Repete!

By the way, it seems most of the local tackle shops are enjoying the run of all the BFT. Many of the large Penn spinners (7500 - 9500) are flying off the shelves. Anyone know of any specials out there?

Boatersworld has a very decent stand up, 20-40 lb. class spinning rod(long foam fore-grip) paired with a 9500 SS for $190.00. If you order online, you get it minus tax and shipping(I believe). Additional charges may apply due to the size and bulk of the rod/reel.

I bought mine from a local boatersworld shop, they had it in the store within a few days.

Unbelievable someone would take the time to hide the colors of lures from other fishermen!! I say share the wealth or it will come back to bite you in the behind someday.....guys still have to have the skill to hook up there is a lot more to fishing than color..
