Advice on Fort Pierce/Vero area trip?

Hello all,

I'm a Cape Cod striper fisherman who's headed to the Vero Beach area on 4/1. I'm looking for advice on flyfishing opportunities in the area. I'll have access to a boat on the Indian River - what can I expect to find for fishing there? I'm planning to bring my 9-weight rig. What types of flies should I tie/bring? Is the area more typically suited to intermediate line or fast sink (or floating)? Any specific areas I should target?

Thanks for any advice!! I'll return the favor if you're headed north!

Joe
