A little advice
I'll be heading down to LI from the Cape the week of 11/4 for 2-3 days .I'll be working out of melville and hoped to get some fishing in ,any recommendations? Fly or spin . How far to Jones inlet? Any action in the surf? Or is the North Shore better Bayville or Northport? Thanks in advance for any info

You might want to try Camp Site Sport Shop in Huntington, they are pretty friendly and update and free about sharing fishing info.
