Great idea and nice offer. There may be some competition from all those amazing tyers who meet once a month in Burlington, MA.

Try getting to Burlington in the early evening from Buzzards Bay, fat chance. Thought about checking out the Rhode Island fly tiers? Anyone have any experience with them.

Peter,

There is also the New England Saltwater Fly Rodders. We meet once a month.. there is usually a fly tying session first, then a guest speaker/slideshow. The meetings are held either at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill or at the Newbury Fire Dept. Hall.

There are also several fly-tying claves scheduled throughout the year. Email me if you are interested.

Question

Can someone provide more information on the group that meets in Burlington? If you mean Burlington MA, that is close to my house and I'd like to join them if possible.

Thanks.

Jared- Do you feel comfortable revealing to us the featured tyers this month and the patterns they will be tying?

Speakers for next year are still being firmed up.

This month is the club banquet, so no regular meeting.

Next is Rich Murphy in December. Our meetings are the second Tuesday of the month.

I try to post an announcement here before every meeting.
