Goosewing OR South Shore ?

Can any one tell me the correct name of the beach
in Little Compton R.I. Iam being told by some people that live in the are its called Goosewing And some call it South SHORE
I call it South Shore because thats the road its on.

DOES ANYONE REALY KNOW
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

The beach from the road to the first outlet( herring run) of the fresh water pond is South Shore Beach. The beach from this outlet east to the point is Goosewing Beach, Goosewing Beach encompasses the second outlet ( herring run) to Quicksand Pond.

Lots of people combine them in their verbage and call it all South Shore Beach.
