For the past 3 days the fat alberts have been on the beaches as well as the inlets. Haven't seen another boat fishing, no crowds, no-one. Big false albacore... 12 to 15 pounders!!! Yes, there are some bigger fish as well. Crease flies and clousers having been working the fish over. 10 wts, clear intermediate line, and 15 pound ande for the tippet. They haven't been shy...
Offshore the it been very hard to near impossible to stay away from the albacore. Plenty of them!!!
Besides the albacore yellowfins/wahoos/ and kings are being caught on the Big Rock..
Inshore the redfishing has picked up since the downpours of last week have left. The water is still very clear for excellent sight fishing.
water temp is 55 in the inlet and close to 60 in the creeks.
Have a great Day,
Dave
