RE: Caribbean travel?

frank,
Awhile back when coming home from the Bahamas, my 2 pc. orvis rod, that I had checked in apparently didn't make it. After reporting this I was sent to check in another room to see if it was there. The fellow airline employee,as he handed me the rod said I had good timing, because he and another guy were trying to decide who would be going home with this lost rod. Anyway,I have since purchaced shorter 3pc. rods that I now carry on with me for trips to the carribean with wife. I have a rod bag that holds 3 rods and 2 compartments for fly boxes, reels etc. I try to carry on as much gear on with me in case of missing checked items. Ther is alot of info out there on destinations and their fishing possibilities. You can find guides when you go or find some fishy spots on your own by asking locals when you get there or use this site for your inquiries.
