nautico boats

Hi everyone. Can anyone give me any information on Nautico boats by Seagull? I can't find a web site for them anywhere. I am interested in hearing anyone's comments on these boats, both good and bad. My interest in them is to both fish the various flats around and also to safely get across Buzzards Bay when the Two o'clock, Souwesters pick up. It seems this boat can do it all. The comments by RoyB pretty much sold me, but I'm interested in others. Also, are there any dealers in the Southern Massachusetts area?

Found this in "On The Water" magazine.
http://www.fishingcapecod.com/

20’ 2000 NAUTICO EXPLORER, twin 70-HP Suzuki 4-strokes, fish finder, $19,995. Cape Cod’s Suzuki repower specialist, Ryder’s Cove Boat Yard, N. Chatham, MA 508-945-1064.

From my understanding the company has gone under, but, you can still find the boats around here and there. I believe the "Explorer" is a cabin model, actually saw one last year on the Merrimac River. Gliding along nicely right thru the mouth in 3' chop.

Jaybo,
I was amazed to see your message online. I recently purchased the molds for the boats that were formerly named Nautico. We have not yet started production of any boats, but if you would like to contact me, I will give you details of our intentions to produce these boats again.

Nautico

I just came across this and decided to reply even though the post is quite dated.

Nautico was built in south Florida but has gone out of business some time in 2001 or so. I have a 2000 Nautico 20 that is just a great boat. It is very stable and has substance. It handles the seas pretty well. I routinely had it off shore in south Florida until recently moving to Washington DC area. Since then it has been mostly on the rivers. Mine has a T-top with twin Johnson 70hp engines.

I choose this boat over a Twin Vee because it is a much better built boat with superior sea keeping based on my sea trials of both boats.

I am actually just getting ready to list it for sale which is why I came across your post.

Any interested buyers feel free to contact me for more information.
