New Tropical Depression

Tropical depression just crossed Florida and expected to be tropical storm in < 24 hrs, headed due west. Had plans x POC next week. Had scheduled to fish Poco Bueno and look what happened with Claudette. My scooter is dry-rotting in the barn, the console is full of dirt-dauber nests. Will I ever get to fish again in my lifetime? Help, I need a Prozac and a Gin-n-Tonic.

You must have PO'ed a black cat or something

Our FF club has our annual One Fly outing scheduled for this weekend (I can't play due to circumstances beyond my control) as a prelude for the annual Redfish Rodeo, next weekend. If Erika follows the forecasters, it should be a thing of the past my the end of the weekend. If it comes in where they are projecting it to, we could have some passes re-opened on Padre Island. Personally, I think aside from a little rain and wind, POC will should be safe. Good luck to you and get that boat out of the barn!
