Cotuit -- Old Shore Road
A vastly improved concrete ramp with two feet depth at mean low water was finished in November 2003 at the bottom of Old Shore Road.
This ramp was built at the request of the Cotuit Fire Department so they could launch their rescue boat in any tidal conditions.
The ramp is about 200 feet long and has a berm of rip rap on each side. It is constructed out of concrete beams spaced slightly apart.
There is little to no parking along Old Shore Road or in the immediate vicinity of Main Street or Putnam Avenue.
Summer parking is restricted to Town of Barnstable Beach parking sticking holders.
Offseason -- Labor Day to Memorial Day, should not be a problem, but again, parking is very tight, especially with a trailer attached to the vehicle.
This is one of three concrete ramps serving the Three-Bay area of Cotuit-Marstons' Mills - Osterville. The others are at Prince's Cove Marina in MM, and Bay Road in Osterville.
