Wow! Cindy heads the new citgo series "In search of Fly Water". Very Nice. If only she was in the pool upstream and around the bend from me.

no question about it, she is attractive. but i thought her hosting it kind of ruined the show. she certainly doesn't lack the knowledge or skill, i think it is more her shrieking and her 'fishing outfits.' i don't blame her so much, it just bugs me that the show had to resort to exposed midriffs and such. the thing i liked about the show before was its calm, but that is just what i enjoy about fishing. i feel like it used to be more like walker's cay.

If it was the show about peacock bass. I saw the the Show too. I don't think they need to do all those glamour shots for the show intro..her beauty speaks for itself. But I really did appreciate that she's a very good caster & looks like a solid fisherman...after they got going she had no problem landing & releasing her own fish & she wasn't totally guide dependent. I didn't mind the enthusiasm because those looked like really great fish & I would have been freaking out too. Although there were a few of the cutsie little poses at least there was also some good fishing.
I equated it to watching the nightly news and seeing one of the hot "News Babes" ..not bad..the intro just hypes her a little too much (I don't think it needs to do that)...The nightly news doesn't do it for there broadcasters.

Unfortunately this appears to be a trend in TV. Not so much the eye candy, I like it, but the need to "liven" up the show. I saw one episode of a fishing show with 4 hotties. It looked like a real world episode. 1 girl being dis'd by the other 3 and the only male.
Probably should be tying more flies instead of watching the BOOB tube.

Yeah I know what you mean.

I much more enjoy Flip waxing poetic, or Andy Mill's latest ascot color, or Jose laying on the grass fondling some Yozuri's.

Wow, I have not seen the show, but after "goggling" (no pun intended) Cindy, I will be sure to set the TIVO.

Goggling is what happens after more than 6 beers and you are looking through the bottom of them at someone who in reality doesn't look a thing like Cindy but through the magic of the beer goggles, does.

When I was in my twenties there was a photo on the cover of the LI Fisherman of a lovely young girl, probably 17 or 18 years old. She had a killer body and was wearing cut-off shorts with a bikini top. She was smiling as she held up a fluke that must have weighed in the high teens.

When I commented to my buddy about how "desirable" the young women was,
he replied, "Rob, I've had women like that and you've had women like that, but damn, neither of us have ever caught a fluke that big.

That's when I started to understand fishing.

I finally saw an episode of the "new" In Search of Fly Water this morning....what a dissapointment. I got it figured out....The more time they use up with the sexy still promo shots, the less fishing footage they need. Fishing for bones & tarpon on Andros. Wading barefoot...god forbid she wear flats booties to ruin the outfit. I used to look forward to watching that show.
