Van Staal Fly Reels

HI, I am a relative novice to fly fishing having caught just a couple of saltwater species on the fly (shark and barracuda) I am planning to buy an all around travel rod, probably a loomis 3 piece 8 wt. I already own a couple of Van Staal spinning reels. I was thinking of buying a Van Staal flyreel (8wt) with a spare spool. Has anyone used one. What are they like. Thanks for your help, Mike B
