I'm getting ready to buy me a 'Yak ... "budgetary constraints" ;-) suggest I don't exceed a 120, so I'm thinking about buying a Pamlico 120 for $399. - I also found a Pungo 120 for about $100 more.
I'm not an expert, though I've been paddling before - from looking at them, both seem okay in regards of maneuverability, but I have a hunch the Pungo might by "slightly" faster ...?
I'm not sure if it's okay to post a link or not and i apologize in advance if this is a no-no.Anyways, if you go to riversmallies dot com you'll find a lot of discussion comparing the relative merits of those two boats. It seems to be that most favor the pamlico.
I just found a new Pamlico 140 for $420 ... maybe that's what I should go for - it may be a good option to get a "cheap" Pamlico, but gain speed and tracking (via length) ...!?
Well, BluesCruiser - I guess it ( ) is more the Pamlico Dance
I decided to buy the 140 - and yes, it's as yellow ... it'll be delivered the day after tomorrow - so I'm a good bit excited and can't wait to take it out ...
