Last nite saw something cool

Last nite I fished a staging area for migrating bass. Only got 4 fish to 32in. 1 fish had totally engulfed my eel. Upon lipping I saw the eel in a figure 8 deep in its mouth, but could not see hook. Decided to cut line to pull eel out of line to see where the hook was.As I freed the eel it slipped and I watched it dissappear like a strand of spaghetti slowly into the stomach of the fish.Pretty cool watching it go down while still lipping the fish.Hook was not guthooked but a little deep for my liking so just snipped closer and released fish after its meal. 1 of the coolest things I have seen while striper fishing.

That's pretty cool.

2 years ago I saw a striper Shaun landed with a crab filling up it's whole mouth. Interested that the fish took a small sandell with that huge crab in it's mouth.

Maybe it scooped up the crab during the fight ???

You also see...

I've also seen fighting fish vomit up stuff all the time. You see bluefish puke up chunks of chum, sand-eels, mackerel bits, squid, all sorts of cool stuff.

Only on a fishing site would you see some refer to seeing vomit as cool.
