synthetics advice - super hair best?

On a whim I pulled out some rarely-used synthetic materials from my fly box at the end of the fall run and came up with a great looking epoxy head baitfish with colors fading from a gray back over two shades of green to a white belly.

I now want to try making some more in the off season and was wondering what people recommend. I believe I used ultra hair but was looking at buying some Super Hair or Fishhair.

Any recommendations?

I have become a big fan of slinky blend(Various shades of the same color blended into 1 pkg) as well as slinky flash(uniform color but angel hair type flash blended in)

I don't know where you are located but most shops I have been in that carry SW tying materials either have it or can get it. Also try Salt Water Edge, The Bears Den, or Hunters Angling on the internet

How convenient - Santa gave me a $50 gift certificate for Hunter's!
