Long Island Action

Is anything happening on the east end.
I have started fishing around 105 bridge on Peconic with limited schoolie action. Weather is not helping.

RE: Long Island Action

Are you able to fly fish that area? What is the water like there?

RE: Long Island Action

My fishing is mostly from a boat and recent action has been on the bottom right at the bridge. I also fish along the banks from the Indian Island golf course all the up river to behind town. Last year was great lots of schoolie bass and weakfish. One of my keeper bass also came from the area, but most action is schoolie.
Access by foot is limited to Suffolk County Indian Island Park or the shore under the bridge on the south side. A canoe launched at the park is also a popular way to fish the area.
