POC report

Thursday p.m. we strafed Big Pocket and landed numerous trout with rubber....white with chartruese tail. Fish were on bottom, slowly drag rubber along bottom with occassional twitch. Friday: Fog early on which burned off x ~0830. NO wind until ~1:00, then just a slight breeze but not enough to drift so used trolling motor. Fished hard all day x Big Pocket, Grass Island area, Farwell, Pringle, Contee, Dewberry and caught 1 trout and no reds the whole day. Used mainly gold spoons and rubber lures of various colors. Top water lures useless. Water was good color and sometimes too clear. Didn't look like anyone else had much luck, either. The mother of all flounder swam not 4 feet in front of me. I thought it was a large ray, but was indeed a flounder. Betcha it was > 30inches length, didn't know they got that big. Off H2O ~ 5:00 when wind and fog whipped up.

Anyone else fishing yet?
