South side Blues

I haven't seen any blues off of SCB, Oregon, etc. anybody seen any blues whatsoever in New England? There are good numbers fo bass on the south side-no blues for me yet.

I haven't seen any either, but there is hope. Yesterday there were only 2 squid boats working VS, bu this morning, there were 7 - usually a sign that the blues are close. FAC and cool this morning, 3 fish to 25in.

Saw 3 blues caught yesterday. Two on the fly, one on a chunk. All on south side.

Before the storm a friend of mine got a couple over on the west side of Buzzards Bay. He was in Red Top later that day and confirmed some chunkers picked up a few in Onset as well.

I got a bluefish at Wasque one week ago
(JUST in time, too... as Momsie wanted
bluefish for mother's day <hehehe>).

Not many blues from the island shores,
but lots of bass.

I've been away since Monday, but plan on
fishing tonight and through (yet-another-
crappy-weather) weekend.

I'll keep you posted.

SOUTHSIDE BLUEFISH BLITZ

-Date greater than May 12th.
-3 days of southwest wind(not likely for the next 7 days).....
-Air Temps in the high 60's/70's...
-Add squid............

Result = Choppers to your arms fall off!
