5/28-30: Cape south side, tub-land, and RI

The summary of the weekend effort was pretty much all the schoolies you could catch on Cape south side (up inside one of the bays) and the bathtub (Chatham). Did not catch any blues and only saw one caught all weekend. Was not able to locate any bass of size though.

Canal was dead on Sat, but I didn't give it much of a shot. The CCB side was dead when I was there, but I know they've been getting them steadily. South County was surprisingly slow in some normally productive areas for this time of year. Had one big hit on a 9 inch sluggo drifted into current, but dropped the fish. The Upper Narr Bay was not happening for me today, although I did see a big "something" erupt on bait about 10 ft in front of me, enough to send water about 3 or 4 feet in the air. Scared the sleep deprivation right out of me.
