Cape - North Side Creeks

I caught what I think may be my first sea run brown. The fish was spotted,a light brown body color, about 13 inchs long, had a nice set of teeth and numerous sea lice. I also got 10 schoolies. The fish were feeding on sand eels.My nephew also reported catching trout like fish off of Jamestown Rhode Island. Could these fish be Squeteague?

Sounds like weakfish. A 13" brown would not have a lot of teeth. JMHO

If we are talking about a creeks that empty into CCB, I would believe it to be a brown trout. Sounds like one that might have been stocked this spring if it still has a brown color to it. The southern side of the cape is the northern range for the weak fish and very few are caught there. While in RI they are more common.
