Joppa or Cranes Beach

Wondering if anyone has fished Joppa or Cranes recently. I heard the blues have chased the stripers out of Joppa.

Joppa is too warm....water temps.....over 72 degrees.

Cranes was fishing well near the Essex. Though I was in a boat I caught a lot of blues and small stripers casting within ten feet of shore. Some of the blues were pushing eight pounds.

fished Joppa on Sunday high tide. a few follows from large stripers but no hits on the flats. moved over to PI sound for the start of the outgoing and found small but active schoolies. the water temps were in the 70's there also. the blues were mixed in with the stripers.

monday in the sound was almost all blues. we found a pocket of larger blues that were crashing every cast for well over an hour. fast action but tough on the tackle.
