If you like fishin for speckled trout, redfish, and flounder, then hell yeah there is. Mississippi hosts several big redfish tournaments throughout the year. It can only be what you make of it, and how much effort you put into it. Get to know your waters, and you can pull em in by the dozen. Bay fishing and going through the coastal marshes, river mouths and estuaries is the way to go.....i'm not too sure how it is on the surf. If you want great surf fishing, probably go to Southern Florida. Also, I know many areas of Mississippi boast good offshore fishing, but I'm not sure how it is on the fly. Best of luck.

MS flyfishing

You bet there is great FF here. I live in Ocean springs, MS The coastal marshes all along the coast as well as the barrier islands have freat fishing, that said it will take some time to learn things. There is a great flyshop here in Ocean springs, Chandeleur Outfitters that can guide you. As well as the Historic Ocean Springs Flyfishing club, google the website. Check us out.
