2 archive questions

question 1. what, if anything will become of the archives of the old BBS5? does it die with the board?

question 2. how does this board archive? by months, numbers of posts, etc?

1. The old archives will be saved and integrated into the search engine. We will be turning off the posting engine that made the old system possible so people won't reply to archived posts into a void.
2. I am exploring the archival capabilities of this system. They are there, it is unclear how I can catalogue them at this point. Off to the manual, or as Backman would say RTFM!
