Flounder in Boston Harbor

As a boy we (my dad and I) used to catch what seemed to be as many flounder as we could handle between Hingham Harbor and Boston Harbor, and I remember doing really well at some hot spot near George's Island...not looking for a particular spot, but I know the fishery went through a decline with the Harbor being so badly polluted...just curious if any Rt'ers have had any recent luck (last few years) with them...love to take my dad out and return the favor as well as turn my 3 year old son on to them. My son would rather eat any type of fish than a cheeseburger or hot dog. Takes after his dad. Thanks for any input. It's almost that time again.

Sadly, it hasen't really come back to anything like it used to be and that is the case with most of the Winter Flounder fishing we used to have from Cape Cod north.

I know they still get a few near Quincy and Weymouth. Maybe someone else will chime in here with an update. I haven't fished that area for 3 years.

I don't fish for them but I regularly get them when scuba diving in the Scituate area. Not huge numbers or sizes but they are certainly around.
