Props for Shimano

I sent 2 reels back to shimano this month. They were my shore spinning reels, a sustain and a stradic, and have been beaten pretty hard the last few seasons and spent some time submerged.

Shimano charged me $27 a reel and replaced the sustain and said that they replaced some parts on the stradic, but it also looks brand new.

Great customer service on their part. I have been holding a grudge against shimano because they made some really bad baitcasters in the early 90s!

I have had a tough time finding reels that last for more than a season, but with their customer service I am now willing to take the risk of buying a few more.

Isn't it funny when we are amazed that a company treats their customers like they want them?

I've had 2 Stradics replaced, tin roof, I have a Thunnus 12000 out with them now.

Also, send them in for service without spools, like magic, they come back with them.

I chuckle at people who still buy Penn.
