Herring Cove - Nauset Inlet report

Big bluefish taken at Herring Cove last evening and the night before. Doug Koenig and I got fish to 40" casting big surface poppers/swimmers, etc.

We fished Nauset Inlet this morning for nothing but small bass and blues. Taking SlugOs and
Clousers. Very weak tides this week.

I'm assuming you mean Nauset Inlet. You can access it from Coast Guard beach in Eastham by walking about 1 mile south from the parking lot. You need a (free) permit from the CCNational Seashore to park there and the lot is closed this time of year except after 5 PM (maybe 6).

Or, you can walk north, about 1.5 miles from the Orleans parking lot or about 1.25 miles from the Priscilla Cove public landing.
