Dish Network high speed internet?

I need to ditch AOL, and upgrade to a high speed internet service.
Verizon DSL or Fios is not available where I live. However Comcast broadband is.
I have Dish Network TV, and just saw a commercial of Dish Network high speed internet service.
How does this work? Do I still need to subscribe to Comcast in addition to The Dish? Or would I simply be better off going with Comcast?

I have dish for TV, needed to get high speed internet and when I looked into it, the dish internet charges were almost double what cable internet was, even with "bundled"services" if I switched to cable for the TV also. SO now I have dish TV and cable internet. Supposedly the speeds on dish internet are supposed to be even better, though.

bob, look into getting directv. we have directv, which is operated by Verizon. we have our home phone, our cell phones and our internet, along with the directv all through verizon. not only is it convienent, but directv is way better then dish network, in my opinion.

the internet service is also way cheaper then through comcast. the one thing i do like though, is comcast has the on-demand service, which is pretty sweet.
