Any luck trolling out front PI?

I'll be taking a few friends and their kids out tomorrow and want to mix up some cruising and fishing. I figure my best bet is to try trolling for blue fish along PI. Anyone have any luck with them yet?

If the seas permit we are also going to make a run out to Jeffries so I can take them on a whale watching mission. God forbid we run into SBFT while we are out there (don't tell anyone but this is actually why I'm taking them to Jeffries ).

Plenty of fish along the beach front in tight, we were fly fishing in six to ten feet of water yesterday.

Hey Ron- one of the kids asked Michelle if I'd be bringing my squid bars so I guess I'll have to take him tuna fishing for real when I go out next time. I hear the kid (16) really likes to fish so I hope to get him hooked up tomorrow.

I've seen the party boats have been in the spot just off PI. You know what that means: blues. Shouldn't have any trouble picking some up for the kiddies, I would think.

Well the kids skipped out on the trip so us adults went out today for some cruising and fishing. Passed stingray/gaffman and sharkbait on the way down the Mac - hope you guys got home and got some shut eye!!! Michelle said she was impressed with all the gold reels and asked me why I don't have any

We headed out to troll along PI and found plenty of 6lb blues out there despite the not so great conditions. But everyone had a ton of fun.

Headed back in to try for stripers on Joppa but they were either not there or just not interested in anything artificial we threw at them.

Wind finally died down right around 7:30pm as we were taking the boat off the water.

yea i work on one of those party boats and we have just gotten into the blues. i go fishing all the time. your best bet for big blues is thachther ( thacher ) island off of gloucster. but also right outside the south jetti has just picked up for some good size blues. anyone having anything on how to snag pogies ( or where in the merrimac or parker area ) and anything about tuna just email me at gofishing182@yahoo.com or u can see me at riverfront marina in the parker or often at captains fishing parties. c u guys out there
