Breezy Point Bluefish Action
Today was an awsome day at the point. The blues were right against the beach for about 1/2 a mile from the point and they were also stacked up on the east side in the corner for a good part of the day (let me put it this way, we had heavy action from 6:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M.). The shame of it was there was no one on the beach or the jetty except two blackfish fisherman. The fish along the beach were feeding on sand eels and the fish in the open water were feeding on spearing. At one point we were catching blues on a clouser that had nothing left but eyes and 6 strands of bucktail.
