There used to be a pretty decent run from May to July, but not for a long time. Most people (average joe american) do not know how good they taste and what great bait they are. I can always tell when there is a good run of squid because the docks in beverly fill up with people. In a good year there can be three or four dozen all vying for space on the dock. Usually best when there are sea herring in the area. Use Yozuri squid rigs on evening flood.
