For sale: Orves Safe Passage Rod Case

This is a lightly used Orvis Safe Passage rod case for 9 foot, 4-piece rods. Case is in excellent condition with no rips or scuffs. All zippers work. Case has a padded compartment for traveling with the reel on the rod.

Is this case something you can check with the airline or would you carry-on?

I used it as a carry-on item for a trip to Florida. It's essentially the same size as a regular rod tube with the addition of the reel compartment. I suppose you could check it if you wanted, but I found it easier just to carry - safer that way too.
