Mobile mechanic
The only guy I know who's mobile also works out of the Frank Hall Boatyard in Westerly, RI, 401-348-8005, which is where I've tracked him down in the past. His name is Walter and he does live in CT; exactly where I'm not sure, nor whether he'd be willing to make the schlep down your way (not to mention your willingness to pay him to come that far). He does go to the Keys in March, returns sometime in April. If nothing else, it's worth a try; maybe Walter knows of someone closer to you. Mobile mechanics seem to stay current in a loose network of their own kind, and are usually aware of each others' whereabouts. Good luck.
