Where the bluefish at????

This is secondhand, but Surfland's been reporting pretty steady bluefishing right out front down there.

They're not seemingly concentrated, and no blitzes, which seems odd given the many pods of baitfish we saw, but they are spread out over a LOT of Cape Cod Bay.

I'll be hunting for bluefish this weekend on the North Shore...I'm assuming you're looking for on to make a print of. Send me a PM if you'll be around this weekend and I can keep one for you if you'd like.....pending I get my hands on one. I saw on another site that some 10#ers were out front of Cranes lately.

Picked up a couple trolling Sunday am just outside the merrimack mouth to the south. They hit deeper plugs.

I had no luck Sunday in the same spot, I don;t think I was getting the plugs down far enough. Didn't mark that many fish though. Lots of fish on the chart running back in through the inlet but it was like running through a washing machine on agitate, not great conditions for trying to drop a line.

I found the bluefish off of West beach this am.......bent a few hooks....
