too many sea-robins and fishermen
fished compo. and old mill sunday at daybreak.tons of sand eels and terns crashing the water. but no bass???
nearly everytime the fly got close to the bottom, it got nailed by a sea-robin!
at least they bend the rod.
over at old mill i counted 10+boats,2 sea kyacks, and 12 wading fishermen.
alot of people for so few fish.
I think that the fish were so shell shocked that they hunkered down elsewhere.
has anyone had any luck in this area over the past few days?
how about at Penfield reef?
