Bonito, a more typical trip

A bit of a late start but made it over to the MV bonito grounds. Moved into position to look for fish when shortly a little guy cleared the water. Boats in general were scattered over a wide area..looking. A few started to run and gun when the fish started to show more frequently. Unfortuneately a couple guys in a red boat were a little over eager and went over the schools (second hand info since I did not chase the fish) I had two decent shots but came up empty handed. Except for the school that turned out to be small bluefish. Conditions early were excellent for seeing breaking fish.

Happens all the time , guys get anxious and start running and gunning and put the fish down. Very little can be done to stop this practice. FishHawk
