Smile Labor Day Sushi

Found Charlie in Cape Cod Bay. Nothing on top but whales, dolphins and the sounder gave them up. After loosing a triple X Ronz to massive bluefish, we jigged a 51" up.

Gear used:
Ugly Stick Jigging - BWSJL220060
Good ol' Penn 9500
80 lb Daiwa Saltiga boat braided line
80 lb home made fluoro wind-on leader
Williamson Benthos

Perfect setup for the slot fish

Congrats! Are the fish showing up well in the bay again or just sporadic?

I don't know. I had not been in CC-Bay since mid August. We only saw two or three single tuna on top but we marked a good number of them in 60ft of water.

Nice work! Top water has been very difficult.

Congrats!

I have had much better luck on the abyss.....have a few of the benthos, maybe I should give them another go.

Was on the bamk Monday, no tuna marked, hooked or spotted. Some huge stripers and blues and of course some bow wows.

Congrats again!

BTW we scored a slot fish on the bank last wednesday, 52".
