Headed back to MV today with my dad and Too Fly as a buddy boat....saw plenty of hardtails and hooked up once - dropped it after 30 seconds. Otherwise sporadic showings and finicky eaters. Action died about an hour after the low slack - didnt see sh!t after that. BB was dead too - and we saw large red blumes of something on the eastern shore...red tide??

I saw that algae bloom near MV a couple weeks ago. The albies were not in the algae but were feeding very close to it. The conditions were very calm and it was a neap tide like now so there was not as much water movement to flush things out, wind was nil.
