My first adventure with a large stripper...at Scornton Creek

I never would have believed that I'd get up at 3 a.m. to go fishing, but I did. The drive into the night and the coming of dusk is something I haven't seen too often, even Bud's Tackle Shop was interesting, with the "Wall of Fame" and those BIG fish posted on the wall that people have caught. All new to me. Well this morning struggling to reel in a 26 stripper was exilurating, what a thrill. Caught 3 strippers today in Scornton Creek with my best friend, and boy it doesn't get better than that. No keepers, but I'm going again!

Those large "strippers" can be almost as much fun as the bass. :);

I really appreciate your candor, novice that I am, I roared laughing when I read your e-mail, but...did you not catch the other blunder I made which was sun rising at dusk, when it should have been "dawn". I'll get the hang of this someday. Thanks.
