The West Wall
Swung by yesterday, (without my license mind you), for my first official outing of the year. I had heard reports now for the last 2 weeks that small little micros had invaded the area as they do this time every year. Well they must have known I was heading over and took off somewhere else because it was dead. There was one other person there a 1/2 hour or so before me who also got skunked. We fished for maybe an hour between 9 & 10 on what could only be described as a beautiful morning. As I was leaving, another guy came by with the long pole who was going to toss a few flies around so maybe he had better luck. It was great to be out there regardless of the out come. I'm just one more step closer to getting my first fish of the season. Who knows, maybe its this evening!
