Macs and Keeper Bass SS 5/4

First trip of the season. Found macs in 50-70ft of water and filled livewell in about 20 minutes. First spot, double hook-up almost immediately with matching 26 inch, fat bass. Action was very steady until we ran out of bait, all other fish were 28-32". Some screaming runs and my 11yr old had a blast fighting these fish. Great to see the season has started, and plenty of keepers already on the SS.

Also had luck with Southside bass Friday night ranging from Schoolie sized to 32-33"on topwater. Started with 9" weightless Albino Slug-go then switched to a small Spook. A good number of Keeper sized fish in the mix.

My host and I landed 5 fish last Wed off Onset. All took olive and white clousers. Three were over 28", the largest was 35".:-%
