Bluefish

Today's goal was to hit the flats on the south side and fish for bluefish. Was surprise to see 1/2 boats out there on a weekday before Memorial Day. Fish were scattered and not very cooperative. Landed one and lost one in the couple of hours I spent. Wonder if the seal had anything to do with the poor fishing? When back in harassing schoolies along the way. Finally found a fly they liked and picked up a quick 1/2 dozen in ten minutes.

I don't know about y'all but I can't believe Memorial Day has snuck up on us like this.

The day I was out, I did not notice any squid boats. Not that I was looking for them.
