Sage RPL 5 and 8 weight

I'm selling off my fresh-water rods to help fund a Loomis 8-weight.

1. Sage GFL RPL 896-4 Custom. Built with Struble U-9 HD reel seat with walnut/teak insert (I can't tell which, but looks great); balck wraps on SS guides. No tube or sock, but one hell of a steel-head rod. Fished just over a dozen times in Oregon means there's a little soiling on the cork, but otherwise, it's in excellent condition. $240

2. Sage GFL RPL 590 Custom. 2-piece with up-locking reel seat with wood insert. Guides wrapped in dark reddish-brown wraps. Comes matched with older style Orvis Battenkill 5/6 disc with WF-5-F line and 100 yds of backing all in a green DB Dunn rod/reel carrying case. I'll throw in the back-up rod [Cortland Limited 6-wt, 9', 3 1/16-oz 2 piece that should only be used as a back-up rod (too limp for me really)]. $400.

The prices are not firm, but I believe fair. I live in Middletown, RI so a meeting is possible to see/cast the rod(s). I'll also be at Marlborough on Saturday. I'm hoping I don't have to auction these rods off on E-bay or VFS, but rather sell them to someone who will appreciate them.

Take care all,

Mitch

My bad...the asking price on the 5-wt outfit is $300, not $400.
