Procraft 14’ Aluminum Skiff, Nissan OB, New Trailer

Up for sale is a nice 14’ Procraft V-hull aluminum skiff (late 90s), built tough like a Lund or Smoker Craft, who now owns ProCraft. It is a deep-gunnel model with tall sides of the hull, but has the transom cut-out to wear a short-shaft motor. Very similar to Alumacraft, Sea Nymph, Grumman and other well-known aluminum or tin skiffs, like those already mentioned.

Hull is in great shape – no leaks, dents or cracks. Attached into the stern-well is a 12V automatic bilge pump. Includes 2 plastic molded seats w/ cushions, on rigid stainless steel bases, where the middle seat can also be placed forward at the bow position. Two rod holders are affixed to the gunnels, one on port-side forward and the other on the starboard-side, just forward of the console for the Captain.

It is rigged with a late 90s model 18hp Nissan electric-start (with pull start too) OB that wears 15hp decals and dataplate. But I could also sell it with a mid-2000s Johnson electric/pull start 20hp motor … or both motors, if someone really wanted a super deal. The Nissan was recently tuned up and the impeller/water pump was replaced in the Spring of 2014.

The steering cable, steering wheel, control box and OB control cables were all installed new in the 2013 season. Under the steering console there is a covered 12V power box containing fused power buss for the fish/depthfinder (Lowrance color model, new in 2014) and an auxiliary 12V power (cigarette lighter plug) socket. There is new marine wiring run in the right-hand gunnel for bow lights; they aren’t hooked up, but you’ll get the switch and bow/stern lights. Plus plenty of accessories to go with the rig!

The trailer is new, new, new … bought in Fall 2013 and it only been used for 3 trips since then, as I kept the boat at a dock last season. The trailer has always been jacked up off the ground when not in use and/or during Winter storage, to protect the axle and bearings.

Asking $2,100/BRO - think Spring … think fishing 
